Tintoretto 440 Kolinsky Sable - Cat's Tongue Brush, Short Handle

Range:

Cats Tongue

Unrivaled despite significant technological advances in synthetic fiber production, natural sable, especially the Kolinsky variety, still represents the highest quality hair for making the finest brushes for most techniques. Its exquisite qualities allow for exceptional fluidity and softness in brush strokes, while maintaining elasticity near the tip for superior control. It allows for gradual and delicate blending of colors and holds paint for a long time, especially when well diluted. The tip remains extremely thin and compact, perfect for any precision work. The cost of the raw materials is extremely high, yet these tools are still highly sought after by the most discerning artists for any technique and color type, be it oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, iconography, restoration, miniature, ink, and many others. Indeed, they have been selected for their works by great international watercolor masters such as Roberto Zangarelli, Eugean Gorean, and Jan Min.
