Ink Circles Chart - Hanky Pysanky

Ink Circles - Cross Stitch Chart / Pattern

Cross stitch chart

This sampler was inspired by the Ukrainian art of pysanky, where beeswax is applied with a fine stylus and multiple layers of dyeing transform a simple egg into a work of art.

224 x 160 stitch count.

The model was stitched on 32 count Black Belfast linen using Carries Threads. Two separate colorways are suggested: the pinks as shown in the sampler version as well as a rainbow palette shown on the smalls.

Pattern includes finishing instructions for this Biscornu and Scissor Keeper.

Materials Not Included.
