Milner Craft 150 Blocks for Baby Quilts

This unique book features 150 specially designed blocks; perfect for making cot covers and quilts for your own little one or for a christening gift or baby shower. Choose from colourful patchwork designs, bright geometric patterns, and pretty pictorial blocks featuring applique motifs or teddies, hearts, flowers, letters, and numbers. Each design includes a detailed photograph, requirements, clear instructions, and templates, where required. At-a-glance icons indicate skill level and techniques used, and there are suggestions for using the blocks on their own or with others in the book. All techniques are explained with step-by-step photographs and you will find inspirational ideas for using the blocks in a range of projects.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Susan Briscoe was first introduced to sashiko in the early 1990s while teaching English in northern Japan. Her sashiko designs have been published in numerous books and magazines, and she is widely recognised as a expert in Japanese sewing techniques.
