Holbein Academic Oil Pastels

Holbein Student Oil Pastels offer brilliant colours that are easy to blend and clean to use. They are a great choice for beginners to pastel artwork and are a well pigmented student grade pastel option for schools, home studios, or for quick in situ sketches at any skill level.

Holbein Student Oil Pastels are designed to allow easy colour laydown without the stickiness of other oil pastels. They are a quality pastel stick, free of bubbles and hard spots ensuring your layers are clean and easy to produce with no imperfections. Unlike oil Pastels that use vegetable oil, Holbein Student Oil Pastels are inert once laid down and will not dry out or crack.

Due to the parafin content and highly refined mineral oil, they will never harden completely. Therefore, finished work should be mounted under glass of finished with a fixative.

Holbein Oil Pastel Sticks measure 11mm in diameter and are 80mm long. Get creating today with these quality Oil Pastel sticks from Holbein!
